This is the FC-04 sound sensor module, which is used to detect and measure sound. Unlike the ultrasonic sensor, this is a 3-pin model, which in practice means that all the data traffic is handled through the same pin(OUT). Otherwise the VCC and GND are the same as in the ultrasonic sensor. With this sensor we haven’t bumped into any problems, they seem to work well and the code is very simple.
