Description

Know exactly what your solar panel delivers.

The FUZRR FR705E tests a panel’s maximum power in seconds. Pmax, Vmp, Imp, Voc and Isc appear together on one large backlit screen, so you can find weak panels before they cost you energy.

  • Up to 2000W
  • Voc 12–150V
  • Isc up to 45A

Can your panels be tested?

The meter accepts up to 150V open-circuit voltage. Choose a setup to see if it fits.

Voc ≈ 41 VIsc ≈ 12 AWithin the meter’s limitsAbout 400W of panel power. Safe to test.
Voc ≈ 52 VIsc ≈ 14 AWithin the meter’s limitsAbout 580W of panel power. Safe to test.
Voc ≈ 104 VIsc ≈ 14 AWithin the meter’s limitsAbout 1160W. Under the 150V and 2000W limits.
Voc ≈ 156 VIsc ≈ 14 AOver the 150V limitTest the panels one at a time, or two at a time in series.

Typical datasheet values for illustration. Check the label on your own panels, and remember that Voc rises on cold mornings.

What the five readings mean

Pmax The most power the panel can deliver right now, in watts
Vmp The voltage at that maximum power point
Imp (Amp) The current at that maximum power point
Voc Open-circuit voltage, with nothing drawing power
Isc Short-circuit current, the most current the panel can push

Who uses it

Quick answers on the roof or in the shop.

Solar installers

Test every panel before mounting and again at handover. Show your client real numbers, not guesses.

Find the weak panel

Test panels one by one to find the one pulling a string down.

Check used panels

Verify old or second-hand panels before you buy or reuse them.

Troubleshoot pumps and lights

Check the panels first when a solar pump or street light underperforms.

Maintenance rounds

Spot dust, shading and ageing losses during routine checks.

Training and labs

Teach students how Voc, Isc and MPPT behave in real sunlight.

How to test in four steps

  1. Disconnect the panel from the inverter, charge controller and any load.
  2. Connect the meter’s red lead to the panel’s positive and the black lead to the negative.
  3. Press power and choose AUTO for a hands-off scan, or MANUAL to start each test yourself.
  4. Read Pmax, Vmp, Imp, Voc and Isc, then compare with the panel’s label.

Stay within limits: never connect more than 150V or 2000W. Test in steady sunlight, because readings change with brightness and panel temperature. Compare panels of the same type side by side.

Questions buyers ask

Can I test a panel while it is connected to the inverter?

No. Disconnect the panel from the inverter, charge controller and any other load first, then connect the meter.

How many panels can I test at once?

One panel, or a short series string, as long as the total open-circuit voltage stays under 150V. Add up the Voc of the panels and allow extra for cold weather.

What is the difference between AUTO and MANUAL mode?

AUTO scans the panel and finds the maximum power point for you. In MANUAL mode you start each test yourself, and the meter needs at least 30 seconds between tests.

Why is my reading lower than the panel’s label?

The label rating is measured under laboratory conditions. Real sunlight, dust, shade and heat reduce output. Compare similar panels in the same light, and look for ones that are clearly lower than the rest.

Does it work for batteries or inverters?

No. It is made for testing solar panels (DC, 12V to 150V Voc).

Do you deliver outside Dhaka?

Yes, we deliver all over Bangladesh.
